I love playing Brawlhalla, but I am not fond of the automated matchmaking system. It feels like the game is designed for players who are good at games like League of Legends or Overwatch, where they can do all sorts of unexpected things with their characters to kill you. But if I want to play competitively, it feels like an uphill battle without some sort of skill based matchmaking system. This is where the idea for a hack arose - a couple simple scripts that will allow you to pick your skill level when going into a match in Brawlhalla and make sure that your opponent has a similar skill level in order to give yourself a fair chance in each fight. The hack is very simple, and can be broken down into 4 steps: 1. Download the script from here: https://github.com/CaptainCortez421/BrawlhallaSkill 2. Place the BrawlhallaSkill folder in the scripts directory for Brawlhalla (C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\Brawlhalla) 3. Open a command prompt window and navigate to the scripts directory for Brawlhalla using the "cd" command (ex: "cd C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\Brawlhalla") 4. Run the Brawlhack.exe program to run the hack. Note: The Brawlhack program will only work if the scripts directory was placed in the proper path for Brawlhalla. If you have not followed step #2 then you will need to modify your PC's PATH environment variable to include a path that points to your Brawlhalla files. To do this, open a command prompt window and navigate to where the scripts directory for Brawlhalla is located using the "cd" command. Then run the "route" command, which will show you a list of directories that are available on your PC to locate Brawlhalla files: I recommend installing Brawlhalla from Steam as it guarantees that all future updates will still work with this hack. Once the scripts directory is in the proper path, you should now be able to run Brawlhack.exe as a program with a command prompt window as shown below. If you open the Brawlhack program and it does not run, then You will need to modify your PC's PATH environment variable to include a path that points to your Brawlhalla files. Now that you have installed the scripts, you are ready to use the system! Simply start playing a match or practise match. If you are looking to build up your MMR by playing online matches, then simply hit Esc and click on "Create Match."
